James Rourke EMLOA Scholarship

2024 EMLOA Scholarship Policy:

Starting with the 2016 season and continuing until the Executive Board changes or terminates the policy, EMLOA will award four scholarships of $500 based on the following criteria:

• The recipient must be the son/daughter/step-son/step-daughter of an EMLOA member in good standing the previous three years and for the current year.

• The recipient must be accepted or enrolled at an accredited two or four Year College or University for the fall 2020 Semester.

• Applicants can apply in the spring of their senior year of high school and in the spring semester of their freshman, sophomore and junior years of college.

• Student who have been previously awarded a scholarship are not eligible for subsequent scholarship awards.

• Applicants that are not awarded a scholarship can reapply in subsequent years provided they fulfill all criteria.

Four names will be randomly drawn from the pool of applicants in June, 2024 at a location TBD.

Scholarship checks will be mailed to the winning applicants by July 1, 2024.
