Uniform Protocol
All EMLOA officials are
reminded of the need to follow the official dress code.
- All officials must
wear matching uniforms (e.g., both wear shorts, or both wear rain
pants; similarly both wear either long or short sleeve shirts).
- The official socks
must be worn.
- Shoes should be
polished and ALL BLACK.
- If worn, t-shirts
should either be white, gray or black (preferably black) and free
of designs (colors, slogans) that may show through uniform.
- In order to look
professional, uniforms should be clean, not discolored and in good
repair.
- In case of differing
selections, the referee (the first official listed in assignment
sheet) determines what is worn.
- All officials
must wear the EMLOA patch on the left sleeve and the US
flag above the shirt pocket. No college patches or
numbers shall be worn while officiating EMLOA-assigned games.
